Ambivalent Skin Care was designed to match my approach as an esthetician. I grew a passion for skin care because of my own sensitive skin struggles and entered the field ready to help those who experienced the same. Through my work I noticed a lack of representation for dry, sensitized, and acne prone skin that resulted in a pattern of overstripping and impairing the lipid barrier casuing the problems to worsen. When I transitioned my clients to the "Building Blocks" method, we were able to acheive amazing results and prevent future concerns from developing.

About Machines and Devices
LED Light Therapy
Treat below the surface. LED light therapy uses skin safe light to promote collagen production, reduce inflammation, treat acne, kill bacteria, and reduce hyperpigmentation. This non invasive treatment provides gradual yet effective results.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip attached to a vaccum hand piece to gently slough off the top layer of dead skin cells while holding the skin taut.
Oxygen Infusion
This handheld spray machine delivers oxygen to your skin cells that promotes collagen production, imporves elasticity, and encourages cell turn over rate. Oxygen Infusion is the perfect way to revive dull and dry skin. This machine is used with various serums to help products penetrate and boost their efficiency.
High Frequency
High Frequency is a wand device that uses electricity to create an ozone gas that promotes cell turnover rate and kills bacteria on the skin surface. This treatment is my all time favorite to prevent and treat breakouts quickly without causing scaring.
BT Micro Fusion
This machine uses ultrasonic waves that can perform various different functions. It can be used to gently remove debris and perform extractions with less pain than a traditional metal tool. It can also promote product penetration and absorption for masks, serums, etc.

Before: Discontinue use of retinols and exfoliants the week before your service. Be sure to inform your service provider of current medications, allergies, and medical conditions during consultation.
After: Avoid exfoliation for 7-10 days after your service. Ensure you are applying SPF to protect your skin from sun damage. Refrain from touching your skin and maintain a clean surface that is free of bacteria. Your at home skincare routine accounts for 80% of your results.
