Should you need to make any changes to your scheduled appointment, kindly do so at least 24 hours in advance. Square will send you emails and texts with convenient links for rescheduling when you book online. If you need to reschedule after the 24-hour mark, simply text the number from which you received the notifications, and I will respond promptly.

Please note that cancelling within 24 hours will result in a 50% charge of the service cost. If you reschedule within 7 days of the original appointment, 45% of the fee will be credited to your next service, with a 5% deduction for processing fees. No-shows are not eligible for credit and are non-refundable.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but last-minute cancellations impact my income and prevent other clients from booking appointments.

Ambivalent Esthetics is located within MySalon Suite Coralville, strategically located on 1st Ave. This location was deliberately selected for its convenience and the unique opportunities it provides to small business owners. It features a community of salon business owners, each with their own unique offerings.

The outcome of our services may vary depending on various factors, and all services are non-refundable. If you have any questions or concerns about the outcome of your service, please reach out respectfully so that I can address them promptly. I am happy to make reasonable adjustments to your services, although once the service is completed, the value of my products, expertise, and time cannot be diminished to no value.
Please reach out within 3 days of your service to discuss any concerns you may have.
Retail Products can be returned within 7 days of purchase if they are unopened and unused. A 50% refund of the initial cost will be issued.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out by email or text! I am a solo esthetician so I wanted to minimize calls. I chose to set up an automated text only number so that I can give each client my undivided attention. I will respond as soon as I am available!

I love when clients come in and mention your name! When a referral mentions your name at their first appointment, you will receive a discount on your next service. Your support is greatly apreciated and I want to give back in ways that I can. If you know anyone in Iowa City or Coralville IA that is in need of an esthetican send them my way! Incentive may be applied to facial and skincare treatments, as well as sugaring hair removal services.

Overall, clients I have seen over the years have been wonderful and respectful. In rare cases, I have had to set boundaries and express concerns for my safety. To prevent future incidents, please be mindful of this etiquette policy.

For the comfortablility of the service provider do not yell, touch, or make unprofessional comments at any time. Hair removal may be unpleasant, but if you feel you can not handle it in a respectful manner, you will be asked to leave and will be charged for the full service amount. Reflexes may happen, try your best to refrain from shoving, hitting or kicking the provider. 

If at any point during hair removal, body treatments, or facial services you make a suggestive comment or cross professional boundaries, the treatment provider reserves the right to end the service and block future booking. 

Please be respectful and considerate and the service provider will do the same.
